1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.

Wiki Loves Earth is an annual international photo contest of the natural monuments. Our goals are to increase the number of freely licensed images in Commons, which we can later use in other Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia, Wikivoyage, Wikinews, Wikiquote etc.).

2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.

This being a photo contest we will reach out to media house and photographers in Zambia through Social media and visiting them personally. This will be effective cause we would have met the people face to face to give an assurance that this is not s scam.

3. What are the activities you will be developing and delivering as part of these approaches or strategies?

We will make video ads and posters for social media

Zambia as a country is under represented with this gap of missing and or no information this will help fill that void and a place to start from.

The target is Zambia we plan to bring on broad new members. How will we engage is through edit-a-thons and we will follow the up through the outreach-dashboard.

For covid 19 we want to purchsace Covid it face masks and Hand sanitizer. All the member will be requested to sign the friendly space policy.

Based on previous contests: The most important way to advertise the contest will be central notice banner arranged by the international team. Communication through our social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Posting announcements in local photo and tourism related Facebook groups (quite effective), forums and sites. Writing a press release before and after the contest.

We do not have a community just yet. Through these activities i hope to kick start something.
