- 1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.
This project aims to bridge the content gap on Wiki-Quotes relating to Nigerian prominent entrepreneurs and professionals. This project will engage new and current members of my local community in creating or improving Wikiquote entries related to prominent Nigerian entrepreneurs and professionals people while learning from their journey and being self-motivated.

From public research, people learn a lot from what they read and see, and also an individual mindset plays an important role in their day-to-day activities, with this project, participants will be exposed to researching about prominent professionals and entrepreneurs, which will enable them to learn from their success story while elevating their horizon, mindset and staying motivated.
A physical edit-a-thon accompanied by the weekly online session that focuses on creating and improving articles on Wikiquotes will be done. This event will bring together Nigerians with different backgrounds, professions, and mindsets to write and improve the content on Wikiquotes in relation to notable Nigerian professionals and entrepreneurs.

A physical edit-a-thon accompanied by the weekly online session that focuses on creating and improving articles on Wikiquotes will be done. The physical edit-a-thon training will be interactive and networking forward, while the Weekly online sessions will be for addressing issues experienced by participants while editing, the online session will also include a talk session done by a max of two individuals per session talking about their entrepreneurial, profession or school experience.

Semmy1960 - Experienced Wikipedians will be involved in the execution of the project. She is part of the 2022 participants for the trainer of trainer for the Reading Wikipedia in Classroom.
Kwalaw - She recently started editing on the Wikimedia project, and she has good professional experience. She will contribute to this project with her professional network and skills.

Content about Nigerian notable entrepreneurs and professionals is lacking on Wikiquote, this project aims to bridge that contact gap, while also indulging participants in capacity-building on entrepreneurial leadership which will be useful knowledge that can be practiced in any workforce they find themselves in.

New participants mostly young working professionals, new graduates, postgraduate students, and a few undergraduate students are the target audience and exciting Wikimedia editors will also be invited to participate in the project through publications, and announcements on social media to inform users of the public willing to participate in the event.
Participants will be onboarded to the project via WhatsApp to engage/mentor participants on issues related to content created during the project. The WhatsApp community created during the project will still be active and participants engaged after the events Participants will also be added to the Wikimedia Nigeria Foundation mailing list for smooth communication of future projects through the mailing list
- 10. In what ways are you actively seeking to contribute towards creating a safer, supportive, more equitable environment for participants?
At the start of every project, we make it important to put out a set of rules such as anti-bullying while also creating an inclusive society. Every participant can easily reach out to the facilitator if they ever have an altercation with anyone during the event, and we handle such situations immediately by giving constructive feedback, while also making every person involved know their feelings are valid.

After making the announcement on Wikimedia User Group Nigeria, some people reached out to me, and I have spoken to some community members to bring their suggestions to the project which they gladly did. And I have support from the community members.

I hope to learn from participants and connect with more diverse people, working with the Wikimedia Foundation has enabled me to meet people from different walks of life while promoting global free knowledge, and I see this project as one that will increase the scope, as this involves working with young professionals, and as a recent graduate myself, I find this very helpful for a new graduate, and I would have appreciated it if during my time as a fresh graduate I saw a program that connected me with professionals or entrepreneurs to learn from their mistakes and see how they handle problems they encounter during their own journey.
