6. What is the change you are trying to bring? What are the main challenges or problems you are trying to solve? Describe this change or challenges, as well as main approaches to achieve it. (required)

The change we are trying to bring is to get individuals without Wiki Loves Earth experience to create fresh account usernames to join in the contest. This will be a great change because it will attract professional photographers to contributed quality content to commons as part of the contest. The major challenge we might face is getting participants to upload the photos on time, and so we will organise 2 upload sessions in other to encourage participants to upload their photos before the end of the contest.

Anyone can join if they have a decent camera on their hands. Additionally, advertisements on social media will promote participation. In addition, there is a WhatsApp group created to keep previous participants and add new ones. To stay in contact with contestants after the contest, we will request their usernames on a form following the event. Follow-ups included.
