Participating in the SheShaid campaign will give more visibility for African women's biographies on wiki, and specialy from Central African Republic, which we don't have on the CAR portal. The main challenge that the CAR team wants to take up is to have content on the portal, enrich the articles and reduce those still in draft form. Carrying out this campaign will also encourage many women to join the wikipedia community, what is not the case for us.

7. What are the planned activities? (required) Please provide a list of main activities. You can also add a link to the public page for your project where details about your project can be found. Alternatively, you can upload a timeline document. When the activities include partnerships, include details about your partners and planned partnerships.

30/10/2023 to 04/11/2023: introductory workshop on basic wiki concepts, and improvement of draft articles. 06/11/2023 to 11/11/2023: workshop with a trainer from Cameroon on article creation, creation of influential women's biographies, photo release and capacity building for local team. 13 and 14/11/2023: initiation workshop for pupils in two local schools.

We're looking for motivated participants from central africa republic, who are willing to work on a voluntary basis, and who know how to use a computer. We've launched an information campaign to get the word out about the campaign and to help those who are available to get started with wikimedia. After the campaign, online workshop sessions will be held to maintain interest and strengthen the team. As a result, this small team will see itself grow with new male and female contributors joining the larger community of Wikipedia contributors.
