- 1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.
Community Engagement: We have organized events throughout the year to introduce participants to Wikidata and have registered over 50 editors as volunteers in our community, but we have not had the opportunity to engage them and listen to their insights and editing experience on Wikidata.
Publicity: Except for the editors and volunteers we have trained, the institution is made up of over 400 students who have little to no knowledge of what Wikidata is and how they can contribute to it.

The celebration of Wikidata's 10th Birthday in the institution will serve as an outreach opportunity for students to network, increasing their curiosity about the event and its significance. We believe that this strategy will help us achieve our objectives for this event.
- 3. What are the activities you will be developing and delivering as part of these approaches or strategies?
Editathon: While our community members and editors are familiar with editathons, they haven't had that sense of accomplishment in terms of awards. We will hold an editathon to teach new editors to Wikidata and provide participants the opportunity to compete for prizes. We will concentrate on female-related items to help bridge the platform's content gender gap.
Celebration day: This is the event's second day. We will invite experienced Wikidata editors such as User:shahadusadik, User:Mwintirew, User:Kinvidia, and User:Amoaniwaa to lead a discussion on the topic "Wikidata as a 21st Century Open Data Source" to educate participants on the value of adding/improving content on the platform. Following the talk show, we will conduct a cake cutting ceremony and award the top contributors from the previous editathon.

Our target participants will be Lakeside University College and Islamic University College students. Both universities have collaborated to organize events and workshops for participants. The institutions have over 50% female students and this will be a great way to bridge the content gender gap while also providing space for underrepresented groups.

We will inform participants about the WMF Friendly Space Policy and the Universal Code of Conduct. We will also place volunteers who are well-versed in the policy in crucial seats at the event and give a line for participants to report discreetly.

We had a discussion after the Workshop about the celebration and participants were able to put in their ideas and also expatiate on how they would want it to go.
