9. Who are the target participants and from which community? How will you engage participants before and during the activities? How will you follow up with participants after the activities? (required)

Target Participants and Community Engagement Strategy:

The primary target participants of the Kiwix4schools project are Tanzanian students, teachers, and schools located in areas with limited internet access. The project aims to empower students with offline access to a wide range of educational resources, enabling self-directed learning and fostering a culture of knowledge exploration. Additionally, teachers play a critical role in this initiative as they will be trained to effectively integrate these resources into their teaching methodologies.

Engagement Before and During Activities:

Engaging participants is a fundamental aspect of the project's success. Prior to the activities, we plan to conduct awareness campaigns in collaboration with local educational institutions and community organizations. We will organize information sessions, workshops, and presentations to introduce the Kiwix4schools project and its benefits to teachers, students, and parents. This pre-activity engagement will ensure that participants are well-informed and excited about the forthcoming initiatives.

During the activities, we will maintain a dynamic engagement approach. Workshops will be interactive, fostering discussions and hands-on experiences. We will encourage participants to share their insights, challenges, and expectations, creating an inclusive learning environment. Utilizing digital communication platforms, social media, and community forums, we will provide real-time updates, share success stories, and facilitate open channels for participants to ask questions and exchange ideas.

Follow-up with Participants:

Following the activities, participant engagement will continue to be a priority. We will establish post-activity feedback mechanisms in the schools, such as online surveys or focus group discussions, to gather insights on the impact of the offline resources and the effectiveness of the training workshops. This feedback will be used to refine our approach and make necessary improvements.

Moreover, we plan to create an online community hub or forum where participants can continue to connect, share experiences, and seek assistance. Monthly webinars, discussion panels, and virtual meetups will be organized to provide ongoing support, answer queries, and share best practices.

By engaging participants before, during, and after the activities, the Kiwix4schools project seeks to create a sustainable and vibrant community of learners and educators.
