1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.

Human trafficking remains a major challenge to the global community because it is a threat to human and the causes of crimes in the world at large .This project will help to create awareness and educate women, teenagers, educators and youth on human trafficking and Child Labour prevention. This project will help train anti-human trafficking volunteers to stop human trafficking in their communities, Contents will be created and improved on the Wiki local language Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects to bridge knowledge gap.

 The Challenge or Problem we plan solving are Educating Community members on the issue of Human trafficking and Child Labour, Creating/improving contents on Humans trafficking and Child Labour, translating contents in the English Wikimedia projects to the local African languages. These will help invest to knowledge equity , language Visibility and inclusion.
2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.

Awareness: There will be creation of awareness on the issue of Human trafficking, educating community members so they won't fall victims of such.

Discussion:Anti Human right agency will be invited to the network to educate and discuss with instances on the issue of trafficking and Child Labour and to advice community members on measures to prevent falling prey.

Training: Wikimedian experienced editors will train participants on the basics of editing with the major reason being to combat knowledge gap on contents on Humans trafficking and Child Labour.

Edit-a-thon After the trainings, participants will edit Wikipedia articles to improve/create new Contents to invest in access to open knowledge. Contests There will be contest after the training,this is another way community members can contribute to the sum of knowledge.

3. What are the activities you will be developing and delivering as part of these approaches or strategies?

Outreach:Weeks before the event there will be Awareness in cities of Anambra and new members will be recruited.

Discussion: on the first day of the event,the invited Agencies will introduce the topic and hold discussions to explain better ways one can be victimized.

Training: The second day will be training on how to add contents on Wikimedia projects. Edit-a-thon The last day participants will be given opportunity to add contents and fill the knowledge gap. Contest :The edit a thon will last for the rest of the month.

Follow up:There will be groups facilated by one coordinator each to follow new and old contributors up.

The participants are students,Staffs, Artisans and anyone in Anambra interested in joining it can because it's a training that can save a life at least.
