- 1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.
Over 300 articles on Fulfulde Wikipedia are stubs and have no references. These articles lack not just sufficient information but also reliable independent sources to make them be fully considered standard Wikipedia articles. I will be able to see that this project addresses the above challenges or problems by recruiting new volunteers and engaging them together with the existing ones in training on how to edit, improve and create new articles on Fulfulde Wikipedia.
- 2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.
I will organise two series of Awareness Campaigns one at Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum and the other at College of Administration, Management and Technology. This is to help me in targeting participants from different learning environments and different backgrounds as well which is also a good strategy in reaching out to even more and more populace. After that I will organize an edit-a-thon where the participants will have full understanding and knowledge of how Fulfulde Wikipedia works; like teaching them how to create articles from scratch, how to improve existing articles, how to add references and citations to the articles created/improved and how to add relevant images to the articles from Wikimedia Commons. I will proceed to adding the participants to an opened WhatsApp group to continue engaging them in the remaining days of the projects. To ensure that the outcome of this project is well achieved, I have it in mind a plan to provide Fulfulde Wikipedia branded T-shirts and distributes it to the most actively contributing participants. This will both motivate and promote the activities of Fulfulde Wikipedia.

I will be developing 2 awareness campaigns and 1 editathon on Fulfulde Wikipedia. This is because I both believe that Fulfulde Wikipedia needs more contributors and more new contents, as well as improving the quality of the existing articles.

Yes, I have experience people who are readily available to help me make this project a success. Three of which are currently members of the Fulfulde Wikimedia Community who joined from my previous projects, they are fast in learning the editing process and have learned a lot from me. They include: Ibrahim442, Mamman AA and Muhammad Idriss Criteria these are going to help me in explaining further the presentations of M Bash Ne and Gwanki who are also going to contribute from their wealth of experience toward making the project a success to the participants whose English and Hausa level of speaking is weak to Fulfulde Language for better understanding of those participants if applicable and this will happen during the commencement of the editathon where myself and them will be going around in the hall to check on the participants and attend to their needs.

Fulfulde Wikipedia is without doubt left behind in terms of information representation. The project therefore seeks to boost impact for providing/increasing contents that will provide more articles comprising those about notable and prominent Fulfulde people of both genders, ages, and of various regional background (different countries across the world).

I will be targeting the participants from two tertiary institutions; Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum and College of Administration, Management and Technology. These participants from should have the necessary Fulfulde language background. The reason why I choose to get the participants from these tertiary institutions is because it's only in such environment that I can easily get people from both remote rural areas and those living in urban cities, as such, the problems of reaching out to people from underrepresented communities is tackle this way.
- 10. In what ways are you actively seeking to contribute towards creating a safer, supportive, more equitable environment for participants?
Since the campaigns and the edithathon will take place in Federal and State Government owned tertiary institutions, the safety and convenience of the environment is fully assured since each of the institutions has its own security protocols and guards. Availability of the related facilities and equipment is also guaranteed.
