1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.

The aim of environment and climate change awareness programs in refugee settlements is to provide refugees with the knowledge and tools necessary to mitigate the effects of climate change on their livelihoods. These programs focus on educating refugees about sustainable practices, such as water conservation, energy efficiency, waste management, and reforestation. By promoting sustainable practices, these initiatives aim to reduce the environmental impact of refugee settlements while also improving the quality of life for refugees. Environment and climate change awareness programs in refugee settlements are important for several reasons. Firstly, they help to reduce the environmental impact of refugee settlements, which can be significant due to the large number of people living in a confined space with limited resources. Secondly, these initiatives promote sustainable practices that can improve the quality of life for refugees by providing them with access to information, and Resources. Thirdly, these initiatives can help to mitigate the effects of climate change on refugee settlements, reducing the risk of environmental disasters and improving the resilience of refugees. Additionally, CIRT will serve as a platform for sharing success stories, best practices, and innovative approaches in addressing climate change and environmental conservation

1. Content creation: A team of volunteers will research and write articles about climate change, environmental conservation, and their impact on refugee settlements worldwide. These articles will be peer-reviewed to ensure they are accurate, timely, and informative.
2. Collaboration: The project team will collaborate with relevant organizations working with refugees and environmental conservation to ensure the accuracy of the information and promote the dissemination of the knowledge.
3. Translation: The project team will translate the articles into different languages to reach a wider audience.

CIRT engages both female and male to participate in any project or Activities we have and always make sure that both sex are represented equally. CIRT also practical participate in Environment and climate change reduction in the refugee Settlement by carrying awareness, and planting tress in the intuitions in the Zone 4 Bidi bidi Refugee Settlement at the same time actively engage the Refugees to participate.
