- 1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.
After a successful project in documenting endangered foods in South South, Nigeria which documented over 200 endangered foods. This proposal is then focus on the other part of Nigeria endangered foods due to the overwhelming endangered foods in Nigeria and to maximize the learnings from the previous project. This project will document all the major endangered food in different part of Nigeria by creating an online contest to have Nigerians contribute in Pictures and Videos and also documenting some in-persons.

The main approach is to organize an online contest focus on contributing endagendered foods pictures and videos to Wiki commons and thereafter organize virtual training on how to contribute to Wikimedia Commons and thus Wikipedia. Will also visit some region to document the foods.

There are thousands of foods in Nigeria that is endangered and in the brink of complete extinction. So, this project is primarily ensuring all of these foods are documented by bridging the gap and using them on the Wikimedia projects.
