An editor is deprived of all the above-explained benefits of Wikimedia tools if they lack knowledge of using these tools. Without appropriate knowledge and skill, editors are unable to efficiently use the tools available to them, leading to an increased workload and a more difficult editing process. This could lead to editors becoming discouraged and leaving the project altogether. Also, the lack of skill could lead to editors making mistakes while using the tools, which could result in data loss or other damage to the project. This could also have a negative impact on the reputation of the project and its contributors. Finally, the lack of skills in using Wikimedia tools could lead to editors producing sub-standard work, resulting in lower-quality content and fewer contributions to the project.
Participants will be trained on how to use AutoWikiBrowser(AWB), Quick Statement, Wikidata Listeria Bot, WikiShootMe tool and. Mix n Match tool. The project will contribute to the missions of various language communities by increasing the content of said communities and fostering collaboration between them.
These tools when used by participants would increase the number of articles in Dagbani, Gurene, Moore, Kusaal, and Dagaare Wikipedia, as well as auto-fix spelling errors in articles and create/improve Wikidata items. It would also save participants time to do other Wiki-related activities.

There will be a hands-on session where participants will practice how to use the tools mentioned above, and a list of articles will be given for participants to work on in the form of an Editathon.
Technical experts would engage participants one-on-one to address issues that they may encounter in the main training session.

Our programs are focused on preserving the 16 Mabia languages on Wikipedia and the internet at large. We do this by establishing language communities to contribute to Wikipedia. Through our partnership with colleges that train teachers in Ghana, we are able to get more language students and teachers to join Wikipedia communities in their native language.

Again, we have created a simple reporting process for the community to report any form of misconduct, violation, abuse, or breach of community policy. During our online and offline events, we always share our friendly space policy and community participation guidelines.
