1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.

A fact is African cities are known to be dirty or less hygienic according to the world standard. In some countries like Nigeria, the streets are littered due to the absence of effective environmental laws and poor social awareness. A dirty environment has deleterious effects on the health of the people and enables the transmission of certain diseases. This project is important because there is need for social awareness and reorientation on less hygienic practices.

Through this project, we hope to reach the youth and use them as agents of environmental sustainability and also create awareness on Wikimedia Commons simultaneously.

2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.

1. Creating social awareness: I believe that social awareness is a far greater tool than fines to promote clean environments

2. Involve members of University clubs that are passionate about environmental sustainability
