ويكاموس (Wiktionary) هو أحد مشاريع ويكيميديا. يهدف هذا المشروع التعاوني لإنتاج قاموس متعدد اللغات بمحتوى حُر، تُركِز النسخة العربية من هذا القاموس على وصف جميع الكلمات والمصطلحات، خاصة العربية منها، باستخدام تعاريف وأوصاف باللغة العربية، اعتمادا على مصادر ومعاجم موثوقة.
يُعاني ويكاموس العربي من نقص كبير في المحتوى لِتعريف المفردات وتنسيق الصفحات وهو ضعف كمي، راجع بالأساس إلى شح في عدد المساهمين والمستخدمين النشطين. سيكون هذا البرنامج ونشاطاته المقدمة في طلب المنحة مبادرةً وانطلاقةً لزيادة الوعي والمعرفة بويكاموس العربي والتركيز على أهميته ودوره في الرقمنة الحرة للكلمات العربية وأيضًا لإبراز مكانته باعتباره مصدرا مفتوحا للمعارف اللغوية العربية.
سنعمل على استقطاب مساهمين/متطوعين ولا سيما باستهداف المختصين في اللغة العربية سعيًا منا لإنشاء قاعدة مستخدمين على ويكاموس العربي من مناطق مختلفة، من العالم العربي أساسا. هذه المبادرة هي الأولى من نوعها في المجتمع العربي ومشروع ويكاموس العربي.
التغيير: إحياء مشروع ويكاموس العربي، بإثراء وزيادة المحتوى الجيد عليه. استقطاب متطوعين جدد، وإنشاء قاعدة مساهمين من المختصين. رقمنة حرة لمجموعة واسعة من الكلمات والمصطلحات العربية. إبراز مكانة المشروع باعتباره مصدرا مفتوحا للمعارف اللغوية.
التحديات: مركزية مشروع ويكيبيديا. نقص المساهمين/المتطوعين. نقص المعرفة بويكاموس وأهميته.
كيف نسعى لحل المشاكل: استهداف المختصين والدارسين للغة العربية. الاستفادة من المنطقة الجغرافية، العالم العربي من شرقه لغربه. إشراك القائمين على المشروع من المساهمين النشطين، ومنهم إداريين في ويكاموس العربي.

سيتم ضم أفرادٍ لفريق العمل، من ذوي الخبرة في تنظيم وتنسيق ومتابعة النشاطات. يتم كذلك اختيار منصة اجتماعية للتواصل المباشر ومتابعة العمل لضمان استمراريته خلال وبعد الجلسات التدريبية، ولزيادة تواصل وانخراط المشاركين مع المجتمع العربي بما يضمن استمراريتهم كأفراد فاعلين في مشاريع ويكيميديا العربية.

نوقِش المشروع وصيغت أهدافه وبرمجته وماليته مع مستخدمين من العالم العربي ممن لهم الخبرة في تنظيم وتنسيق ومتابعة النشاطات على مشاريع ويكيميديا. وتم الاتصال بالمساهمين الذين لهم اهتمام ونشاط والتزام تطوعي اتجاه مشروع ويكاموس العربي، حيث دارت مشاورات معهم ومع مجتمعاتهم المحلية، واتُفِق على إجراء تدريبات حضورية (إلى جانب المغرب) بكل من ليبيا والأردن، كما من الممكن عقدها كذلك بكل من اليمن والجزائر، حيث المشاورات والاتفاقات لازالت مستمرة لتغطية أكبر بقعة جغرافية ممكنة من العالم العربي. جميع هذه الاتصالات جرت على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، كما تم عقد اجتماعات عدة طيلة الشهر الحالي (يوليو) على منصة Google Meet. لا زالت ستتواصل الاتصالات لجذب المستخدمين النشيطين من ويكيبيديا العربية وتهييئهم للمشاركة في هذا المشروع، هم ومجتمعاتهم المحلية.
