Project idea

Illustration of how to make a reference by dragging a tab with the mouse

What is the problem you're trying to solve?

edit

Many readers (and some editors) want to add references to articles, but stall during the cumbersome and technical process of typing, copying and pasting. reFill and CiteGen does some of this work, but it could be even more automated.

What is your solution?

edit

Create an option to use the mouse pointer to drag a neighbouring tab to a desired point in an article, making a reference. Ref-making in one click! Probably using [CiteGen] or reFill as back engine to fetch the data from the webpage in the other tab, best done by using FireFox. A similar idea is Grants:IdeaLab/Drag-n-drop references between articles
