Currently the only way to share an Wikipedia article to ones friends on social media is by liking or re-sharing those shared on social media by the official account.

A footer or a drop down menu (or for that matter any sort of links) which will allow any person to share the article on social media.[even the britannca encyclopaedia has the share functionality]
