Describe your idea to engage new readers. How might it be implemented? What will you tell people about Wikipedia?
editThink about the steps that might involved to make this idea happen, and what you might teach people about your experience or others' experiences using Wikipedia.
These are my steps to engage school students:-
Step1: Students are drawn to cartoons and popular shows on TV and would ask them to look up at Wikipedia about them. Step 2: Ask them what excited them the most Step 3: Re-read and find new words and their meanings Step 4: Ask them to find books written by these personalities Step 5: Direct them to find if these books are available in their school library or any other library near their home Step 6: Ask them to set a benchmark for reading a book Step 7: Ask high school students to read their personalities biographies and summarize the best points that might influence their life Step 8: Last would make it a routine to read books and beat their own benchmarks and join a library membership if they hadn't Step 9: Challenge their fellow mates or friends at school to see how many books they can read in a month/year
