Grants:IdeaLab/Inaction
I am saying so, because, for most of the common Google searches regarding specific terms/subjects/topics, Wikipedia page result is on the first search result page, if not the second.
So, my idea is inaction. The most appropriate action here, regarding this problem, is no action. This is not a valid/genuine problem, to begin with.Audience
editWho are the people you want to introduce Wikipedia to?
editTry to be as specific as possible about this group.
Noone, it is already well known in relevant circles.
In what languages do they search for information, online or otherwise?
editEnglish
In what ways does this group communicate with each other?
editThis can include services and apps in social media, mailing lists, physical spaces like conferences or lectures, or at specific institutions like at a library.
Mix of English and Regional Language, both written in English alphabet.
What are some reasons this group would use Wikipedia? How would they benefit from it, or what would they find useful?
editThink about what they would be interested in reading and learning about; does Wikipedia provide better access to information this group cares about?
Many are idiots and ignorant and want to remain so. You can't forcefully make people learn knowledge. Those who have interest already have ample ways/opportunity to do so.

editThink about the steps that might involved to make this idea happen, and what you might teach people about your experience or others' experiences using Wikipedia.
