Project idea edit

What is the problem you're trying to solve? edit

As in the real world in the US, the history of WWII exclusion and incarceration of people of Japanese descent is written about sporadically and inconsistently throughout Wikipedia. During a time when certain groups are threatened with exclusion from the US based on ethnicity and religious affiliation, it seems appropriate to beef up the information that we have already on a past historical misdeed on a government scale.

What is your solution? edit

Incorporating Densho.org as a resource, create new and expand upon current entries around the topic.

Who will you be doing outreach with? edit

The Japanese American communities via the Japanese American Citizens League and word of mouth.
