Request changes

We understand that sometimes plans change. Please use this button to request approval for changes to your grant’s budget while your project is in progress. Any variation of 20% or more to any line item in your budget must be approved by staff here before you make the change (for projects with budgets of $15,000 or more, the accepted variance is 10%).

Budget change request

I'd like to request 2 changes to budget:

1. Cutting down whole budget line for Promotional materials - $250.
2. Moving leftovers of "Volunteer coordination/meetings" line to "Research and development" line, per same rationale as above.

Rationale

1. We intended to use this money for T-Shirts, stickers, notebooks and other small prizes for volunteer developers/students we intended to involve. Due to same circumstances which made our project late, possibility of serious involvement of students within scope of this IEG is too low now, and we won't need this money (at least not in this amount, I may use smth. small for beta-testers from Project Coordination costs).
2. Team member who was doing Volunteer coordination, in the end had to switch to writing code himself. So while this line will be transferred to same person, this will in reality be done for development, we expected students to make under his supervision. Xelgen (talk) 14:58, 5 June 2017 (UTC)

Request approved
