User guide edit

Follow these steps to distribute the certificate and collect data:

  1. Collect usernames from the final list of attendees on the Learning Day spreadsheet.
  2. Create a list of usernames using the stated Global Message Delivery/Targets/...
  3. Go to Special:MassMessage[1], and fill out the fields starting from the bottom, as follows:
    1. On the field «Body of the message», insert {{m:Grants:Evaluation/News/Pre-conference for Wikimedia Conference 2016/Certificate}}
    2. On the field «Subject of the message (also used as the edit summary):», insert: Certificate of Participation in Learning Day, Wikimedia Conference 2016
    3. On the field «Page or category containing list of pages to leave a message on:» insert the page you created on Global Message Delivery/Targets/... (step 2)
  4. Hit the preview button, at the bottom of the page. You should see a time stamp. If there is no time stamp, make sure you sign your message using ~~~~.
  5. If everything looks good, send the message.
  6. In order to collect a cohort and analyze data for multiple Learning Days, after delivering the message, come back to this page and click «What links here», under Tools, on the left sidebar of the page.
