  1. Developer status clarification - Finally, thanks to Tim, great clarification of the different types of developer access level, and who may do what. Update of developer names.
  2. Stewardship - Elections for granting more folks developer access are continuing on meta.
  3. Board of Trustees : Jimbo announces the upcoming election for the Wikimedia Board of Trustees. Danny and Imran volunteer to be the election administrators.

Mailing lists:

  1. Mailing list merge - Proposed merger for Intlwiki-l and Wikipedia-l mailing lists at meta. The vote at Mailing list merge is closed; the merge has been implemented, and Intlwiki-l discontinued.

Software updates: Edit summary prefill poll - The poll was closed after three days, and the winning option is: Add it in, no user preference.

Bugfixes will typically go live immediately, while larger changes will go live with the next update.

  • History links, diff links for (top) edits in contributions list
  • Printable versions implemented through CSS
  • Section edit links in diff view to current version
  • Make ~~~~~ (five tildes) insert just date/time, without [[User:username]]
  • French Wikipedia switched to UTF-8. Resulting problems still not entirely solved.
  • Automatically generated meta keywords for search engines
