English: Teachers attended their first Wiki meet up at Cocoland Farm and Resort with PhilWiki Community President Maffeth O. Sto. Tomas in Minalabac for the formation of a Wiki Club. Last month during the 5-day In-service Training of Teachers in Minalabac District, some 50 participants learned about the utilization of Wikimedia in class, proper citation and relicensing. At the end of the session, outputs were on the utilization of Wikimedia in lessons presented, and at least 20 teachers signified to participate in the upcoming Wiki-related activities, including the formation of a Wiki Club for teachers in Minalabac, and in organizing a teacher's training on Wikimedia next school year 2024-2025. |
