Event:Jju Wikipedia Outreach

The Jju Wikipedia Outreach is an in-person event organized by the Tyap Wikimedians User Group to recruit a new Jju-speaking wiki community to champion the translation of articles in the Wikimedia Incubator and Translatewiki. This is aimed towards creating the Jju language Wikipedia edition. This event is aimed at occurring between 21-22 and 28-29 September 2024.

• Dates: 21– 22 and 28 – 29 September 2024.
• Venue: In-person @ Barnawa, Kaduna, Kaduna State, Nigeria; and Online (YouTube Live via our handle).
• Status: Completed.

How to participate

1. Log in or Create a New Account.
2. Register yourself for this event. Go to the top of this page and click "Register for event" to register yourself after confirming that you've logged in already.
3. Attend the event in person or stream Live on YouTube on Saturday, 21 & 28, and Sunday, 22 & 29 September 2024.
4. Please join our Telegram group to get live updates and discussions.

Saturday 21, 28 September 2024:

• • Add or improve content in the Jju Wikipedia Incubator.
  • Activate the Jju Wikimedia User Community on Meta-Wiki.

Sunday 22, 29 September 2024:

• • Add or improve content in the Jju Wikipedia Incubator.
  • Create awareness on the Akai script for Nenzit languages.
