Africa Youth Month 2023 Launch

Please join the official launch of the Africa Youth Month 2023 on 1 November 2023 at 19:00 UTC to share in the excitement of the celebration and accompany participating communities on different ideas about the theme, the journey of the campaign, and activities that these communities will be doing throughout the month of November 2023. Local Community Activities

Please help us organize local activities in your community that mobilize young people in African Wikimedia communities and diaspora to join other young people in the African Wikimedia community to participate in the campaign. Let us know you are organizing local activities here

Africa Knowledge Initiative session at Wikiindaba 2023 Conference

Please join the Africa Knowledge Initiative panel session at the 2023 Wikiindaba conference to learn about the 2022 campaign experience alongside other campaigns on 3 November 2023 from 15:00 - 16:00 UTC. Please see more here.

Please join the meetup of previous and current organizers and participants of the Africa Youth Month campaign at the 2023 Wikiindaba conference. We will share further details on how to join in the coming days.

Post-Wikiindaba 2023 Activities

We will organize a series of activities as part of the post wikiindaba program to engage young people in Morocco. We will share additional information in the coming days.

Africa Youth Day coincides with the Bangladesh youth day. Therefore, these two communities come together to celebrate their young people through the Africa Youth Month Campaign 2023.
