The Wikimedia Community User Group Georgia and Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group joined forces to start a collaborative project to support free knowledge and Georgian and Albanian community engagement on Wikipedia. Read more…

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture celebrated National Literature Month with a festival that included events on Bikol Wikipedia. This is part of their Wiki Education program which encourages students and faculty to contribute to Wikipedia. Over 200 people have participated since October 2023. A competition was held for writing and translating Wikipedia articles in Bikol. The winners were Delimaangelo19 and Shiela Maulion. Read more…

The first-ever Wiki Camp was held in Türkiye. The camp was organized with the cooperation of the Wikimedians in two neighboring countries: Türkiye and Georgia. Read more…

Wikimedia MKD, a volunteer organization that supports Wikipedia, held a workshop with the Macedonian Young Lawyers Association to train new Wikipedia editors. The workshop covered the basics of editing and using Wikipedia, and all participants were able to create at least one article by the end of the session. Read more…

Wiki Movimento Brasil took part in Tech Week's Human and Artificial Intelligences event, which was held in person at the technical school of the National Commercial Learning Service (SENAC) in Osasco, São Paulo. Additionally, Wiki Movimento Brasil participated in the Wiki Education Speaker Series, a webinar organized by Wiki Education. Read more…
