Things learned at the conference

• The breadth of wikimedia projects. Having only really dabbled in wikipedia and wikidata, it was great to learn about wikisource, wikimedia commons and other projects.
• Variety of activity happening across the region.
• Connections with other users who share an interest in natural history collections and species information.

Things the participant contributed or participated in the conference

• Generally to the conference as a particpant, but also helped to run some sessions.

Plans after the conference (from what was learned or contributed in the conference)

• Have already made some connections with local GLAM organisations (Atlas of Living Australia and Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria) to progress ideas
• Follow up connections with New Zealand on biological information.

Comments/ suggestions about the conference

• Conference was excellent. The venue worked well, food was good and being walking distance to everything in Sydney was a bonus.
