Endangered Heritage in Romania

ICOMOS identfies in it's 'Heritage at Risk World Report 2011-2013 on Monuments and Sites in Danger' publication the main risks to immovable culutral heritage in Romania are degradation of the heritage in Romania due to lack of education in this field, insufficient legislation, and failure of people and institutions involved in management. It also identifies natural disasters including floods and earthquakes and of degradation due to 'aggressive climatic, chemical, physical and biological factors'.
