  • @Manfred Werner (WMAT): I've created the campaign and banner, please check the English and German preview (I've translated the latter). Usually, we only enable campaigns only when the landing page is also translated into the banner source languages. To date, the landing page seems to be available only in English. If possible, please also provide a German translation. We also recommend to announce banner campaigns to the local communities; in that case, d:Wikidata:Forum would have been a good place. Due to the short timeframe, I would enable the campaign when you confirm the settings and preview. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 21:59, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@DerHexer: Thank you! The banner is fine as it is. A German version will not be prepared in this case, not least because working with Wikidata requires a minimum of knowledge of the English language anyway. But I will keep in it mind, it would certainly be a good service for a big part the targeted community - and I will also remember notifying the local community/communities next time. Thank you, Manfred Werner (WMAT) (talk) 10:34, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, enabled. —DerHexer (Talk) 10:36, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @DerHexer:! I am based in Austria and checked both Wikidata and de.wp, both logged in (interface set to English) and not logged, and I don’t see the banner. Am I doing something wrong here? Jean-Fred (talk) 22:10, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
(Also, I have started marking the landing page for translation − hopefully we can get it in German soon enough :) Jean-Fred (talk) 22:11, 6 October 2022 (UTC))[reply]
Now it should do. Please check in some minutes again. —DerHexer (Talk) 22:15, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I was welcomed by the banner going on Wikidata this morning :) Perfect − thanks DerHexer! Jean-Fred (talk) 07:35, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
