What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?

Description - The campaign in intended to propomote the Wiki Science Competition in Slovakia 2021. The competition started in 2015 in Estonia, and grown to international level. This is the first time of organising this competition in Slovakia, while using the experience from several editions of Wiki Loves Monuments.

Central Notice admin comments

@KuboF Hromoslav, Jetam2, and I JethroBT (WMF): Are you aware of the banner requirements that banners should only link to Wikimedia-only websites: “Banners must link to Wikimedia-controlled domains (owned either by Wikimedia Foundation, Wikimedia affiliates or Wikimedia volunteers identified to the Wikimedia Foundation).” I cannot find an imprint on https://veda.prewiki.sk/rocnik-2021/ and the linked discussions are not fully clear to me. Furthermore, the grant request does not seem approved to me. Can either of you provide more information here, please? … Furthermore, are really only inhabitants of Slovakia allowed to participate? @DerHexer: https://prewiki.sk (and its subdomains) is a website run by the Wikimedia User Group Esperanto kaj Libera Scio for its Slovakia-focused program PreWiki.sk. I have just added "about us" page to the website.

Linked discussions: Well, I informed the community of the proposed wikis about my CentralNotice request that is relevant for them. Was I expected to do something else? Shoul I do something else about the relevant wiki communities?

The competition is based geographically, not linguistically.

The grant is only proposed, not aprooved, indeed.

New situation: Because of a newly found time conflict we are considering what to do, including possibility of rescheduling the competition, potentialy also this proposed CentralNotice campaign. I will return with more information soon. --KuboF Hromoslav (talk) 18:10, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Removal request

Hi @DerHexer:, please remove this CentralNotice. WMF grant team refused the grant request and so the competition is not happening. As in this request was lack of reactions, I supposed that it is not accepted yet (I supposed that explicit confirmation that everything is all right (after the presented issues) was needed here).
