editHi Tofeiku, I created a (basic) banner for you, please check it here and let me know if anything is wrong. You would like to target Tamil and Chinese (only Malaysian Chinese, or standard Chinese as well?), but did not provide translations for the banners in these languages. Please let me know if you would like me to add them for you: if so, please provide the translations. Ciell (talk) 19:34, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
- Ciell Everything looks fine. Both Malaysian Chinese and Standard Chinese can be targeted too if possible. Can the banner be in English for those 2 languages? --Tofeiku (talk) 15:41, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Tofeiku yes, where no translations are provided the CN banner switches to the English language, same as all the other Mediawiki extensions. I enabled the banner for you. You want to target all anonymous users for a period of two months: this is actually not recommended to avoid constant use and banner blindness. I can switch the anons off a week after today, and then do another week say beginning of May, and maybe a final week just before the competition ends, the first week of June? Ciell (talk) 17:38, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Ciell Alright. That sounds good to me. Thank you! --Tofeiku (talk) 17:50, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Ciell There are these dates that are important for this competition: 13 April, 13 May, 30 May-2 June. The banners should be put for anonymous users during these dates. --Tofeiku (talk) 19:00, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Noted! Do you want the anons turned on now, or more closely towards the weekend? Ciell (talk) 20:27, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
