For long term community engagement and prolonged activities, program anchor Subhashish Panigrahi was working out of Bhubaneswar at KISS starting September. The monthly meetups at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack were restarted and two campus programs: one at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Bhubaneswar for Odia Wikisource and the other one at Indian Institute of Mass Communications (IIMC), Dhenkanal. Details about the program is explained in this page. The program at IIMC started with an orientation and could not progress much because of unexpected strike and other engagements of students afterwards. It will be restarted in January after the exams. CIS-A2K was instrumental to get licenses of 5 books of noted author and educator Ramakrushna Nanda including an encyclopedia "Biswa Parichay" migrated to Creative Commons Share-Alike 4.0 (CC-BY-SA 4.0) license. CIS-A2K has also got Odia poet Bharat Majhi's 5 books relicensed under a CC-BY-SA 4.0 license. All of these books will eventually be digitized on Odia Wikisource.

- • Four encoding converters to convert text to Unicode
In collaboration with Odia Wikimedians Manoj Sahukar and Shitikantha Dash we designed 4 encoding converters. These converters can convert font encoding from various fonts proprietary to Unicode so that content available online in newspaper/magazine/journal and acquired in digital typeset from copyright holders could be used on Wikimedia projects (citations on Wikipedia and as books on Wikisource).

Odia Wikipedia revived with interactive graphics and animations detailing on various Wikipedia policies.
- • Migration of license for encyclopedia
An Odia language encyclopedia "Biswa Parichay" compiled by notable Odia educator and littérateur Ramakrushna Nanda was re-licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0 license.
- • Odia Wikipedia workshop series started
First session of the Odia Wikipedia workshop series started at Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC). Dhenkanal.
- • Number of page views starting from July has gone to 641,237 from 535,491 from the previous month with a growth of 105746 new page views (~83%).
- • One community meetup at Bhubaneswar and one in Cuttack were conducted. These helped to refine the ongoing programs and plans for the future.
Statistical analysis edit
During this quarter there were less number of CIS-A2K led activities for Odia Wikipedia.
Total editors edit
The number of total editors has a growth of ~ 4.7% in the total number of editors which is also an indication of the natural growth of the community without much of CIS-A2K's intervention.
New editors edit
There is a small hike in the number of new editors. This is however better than that of the previous quarter but almost same with the same quarter of the previous year. When it was expected for a leap because of the beginning of the campus Wikipedia editing at Indian Institute of Mass Communications (IIMC), Dhenkanal it does not reflect in the chart. Though the session was organized, it being the very first Wikipedia orientation session that got hampered by an unexpected strike in the institution, students could not manage to edit more.
Active editors edit
Though there is a negative growth in the month of July the other two months of this quarter have a stable number of active editors. The overall trend has been almost the same with the previous quarter and the same quarter of last year (except for the month of July where there is a hike as an intervention of campus program at IIMC Dhenkanal).
Very active editors edit
There is a concern with the number of very active editors. It has been low in this quarter, in the previous quarter and the same quarter in last year.
No. of articles edit
The growth in number of articles has been steady and articles have mostly been enhanced with some new articles created. The growth trend has been more or less the same when compared to the previous quarter and the same quarter in last year. 4 out of 49 new stub articles created during this quarter have been enhanced from stub class articles.
