CIS-A2K organised and implemented several outreach programs during this quarter. These series of outreach events resulted in creating massive awareness about Kannada Wikipedia. Several new editors joined Kannada Wikipedia community which is showcased in increase in number of editors. Total number of articles and page views also went up during this quarter. CIS-A2K's efforts also resulted in mass media coverage. Social media was also effectively used for outreach.

Key Highlights edit
8 Outreach sessions were conducted exclusively targeting Kannada audience. About 250 participants were reached by these sessions. majority of these sessions were hands-on sessions. These outreach programs resulted in creation of lot of new editors in Kannada Wikipedia. There was also an increased page-views. The sessions were held at some prominent places including IMSR, Hubli, CPDPS, University of Mysore, Department of Kannada, University of Mumbai, SDM College, Ujire.
Total Editors edit
The total number of editors in Kannada Wikipedia increased from 385 to 403 during this quarter. This could be credited to high number of outreach programs conducted. During the same period last year, the number of total editors increased from 316 to 321 which is very marginal increase. This shows the effectiveness of the outreach programs.

New Editors edit
14 new editors were added in the first month, 11 in the second month and 7 in the last month. The figures for the new editors during the same period last year were 4,1 and 4.

Active Editors edit
The number of active editors for Kannada Wikipedia was 33 for first month, 41 for second month and 38 for the last month. The numbers for last year were 16, 15, and 19 respectively during the same quarter of last year. There is a remarkable increase in the active editors of Kannada Wikipedia as can be seen.

Very Active Editors edit
The number of very active editors for Kannada Wikipedia was 5 for first month, 7 for second month and 5 for the last month. The numbers for last year were 3, 2, and 1 respectively during the same quarter of last year. There is a remarkable increase in the very active editors of Kannada Wikipedia during this period compared to last year.

No. of Articles edit
Total number of articles went up from 14915 to 15369 during this period which is a total of 454 articles during this quarter. On comparison the increase in the total number of articles during the same quarter last year was 200.
