Actual planning was to organize a Photowalk in Faridkot but due to having the annual fair in the memory of Baba Farid it got cancelled. Because most of the monuments in Faridkot were closed by the government. So, some of the members met at this fair and they had talk about Wikipedia & its ongoing sister projects.

editIt was planned with Patiala photo-walk that CIS-A2K will organise a photo-walk in Faridkot as well. The main reason to conduct this Photowalk was not to capture photos of monuments which are state or national importance but the focus was Baba Farid Fair and to click photos of the local area. This fair is organised every year in September. Last year, we did a meeting on 23 September 2018. So, it was planned as a meeting as well. Participants of this meet up were met at 11 am in the book fair. We met at Brijindra College Faridkot's canteen. We could not do photo-walk because photography was restricted in most of the places in the city because of fair. It was huge fair so the government did not allow people to watch monuments during fair because the sometime crowd can destroy monuments. So, we cancelled the photo-walk but this meet up was fruitful as Satpal (CIS-A2K) met Kulwinder guruharsahai. Kulwinder took photos of Punjab's state-protected monuments two years ago and he has the data of all photos or monuments. He agreed to upload all this data on Wikimedia Commons. He told that he will identify all the data from his laptop that which can be uploaded and he will share his data with Satpal. Satpal will upload that data and will take permission from Kulwinder as OTRS permission. Kulwinder Harshai mentioned that he travelled through Amritsar as well because there are some places which are state protected. Nirmal Brar is also living in Amritsar nowadays and he shared his view that he can help us well to make community in Amritsar as well.
Satpal personally met Jagmit Brar and Stalinjeet Brar. Jagmit shared his idea about to work on upcoming Project Tiger 2.O. It was discussed with Stalinjeet Brar to work on his idea to document Faridkot district.
