Punjabi Wikimedians/Meetup/Faridkot 1

Punjabi Wikimedians organized their first meeting in Faridkot area on 23 September 2018. Before this meeting, most of the activities were done in Patiala area. So, we took this step to create awareness of Wikipedia and to engage more Wikimedians from Faridkot area of Punjab, India.

• Stlalinjeet Brar introduced participants and the agenda of the meetup.
• Introduction of Wikipedia, Wikisource, and Copyright to New Readers.
• It was discussed that there is a possibility of creating a community space at Faridkot. All the participants agreed that it can be really useful.
• Planning about meetup or event in the next few months. Nirmal and Varinder Sharma to lead.
• Planning of Photowalk in Faridkot area.
• Possibility of collaboration with college.
