The CIS-A2K Learning Hours is a new initiative designed to enhance the skills of Indic Wikimedia community members by introducing essential tools that are useful in contributing to their projects and gathering insights about their communities. Seeded at Train the Trainer 2024, this program involves monthly calls dedicated to teaching simple tools each month which will help you in creating more impact to your project.
Objectives:
edit- Equip Indic Wikimedia community members with practical skills by teaching essential tools that streamline their workflows and improve their contributions to Wikimedia projects.
- Build a consistent learning platform to ensure continuous engagement and skill development among community members over time.
- Tailor the learning sessions to address the specific needs and challenges faced by Wikimedia contributors, ensuring the tools and training are relevant and immediately applicable.
- Incorporate mechanisms to gather feedback and assess the outcomes of the training, enabling continuous improvement of the program.
How it works:
edit- Open to All: Sessions are open to everyone, with a special invitation extended to TTT participants.
- Pre-requisites to the tool: The tool will be introduced with a short brief along with the invitation to prepare community members for the upcoming session.
- Focus: Sessions will introduce the usage of tools, helping participants see how these tools can benefit their specific Wikimedia projects.

It allows users to add or remove statements, labels, descriptions, and aliases, as well as include qualifiers and sources.
