Metric data on Wikidata

edit

This year we decided to add our metrics data to Wikidata just, so we can write queries to ask more complex questions of the numbers. An example of what is possible in Wikidata for our metrics is this map showing the location of event, data of event, dashboard link and number of participants. The points in the map are not (may never be) complete because we have items that have incomplete statements such as the location of venues that do not have Wikidata items, or the location of venue of events that do have Wikidata items, but have missing coordinate location properties (P625). In the coming years, we also plan to add more qualifiers to each statement, and then to go back in time to import our campaign numbers from 2014 into Wikidata as well.

Linear and Exponential growth Declines

edit

Due to COVID-19 a lot of our events got cancelled. And so although over the years Art and feminism has been experiencing continuous linear and exponential growth of events and participants, this year for the first time, instead of an increase, we experienced a sharp decline in the growth of events and participants. Interestingly, there was an increase in the number of articles and productivity.

About 1% of all articles were Deleted

edit

1.19% of all articles were deleted. 154 articles were flagged for deletion via Speedy, Prod, or AfD; of those only 51 were actually deleted.

More than 34% percent repeat organizers

edit

Of the 300 hosted events on Outreach Dashboard in 2019, 103 (representing more than 34.33%) of them organized in 2020.
