The Legal rules are at Logo submission rules. Please note that entering a submission constitutes your acceptance of these rules. Please help translate that section into your language.

After the proposal deadline, we might need to reduce the number of proposals if there are too many or for other reasons. We will discuss this when the time comes. Then we will start a vote with the whole community in order to establish the favoured logo concept on this shortlist. After vetting by legal, the logo concept with the most votes will then be further refined by staff. This follows the precedent of the Wikidata logo selection.

Here are some tips for creating a good logo:

It must work well at different sizes: 16×16px (favicon for browser tabs), 50×50px (new Vector theme), 140×140px (old Vector theme), and larger (print)
It must work well in color and in black & white
It must use a reduced color palette
It must have suitable contrast for text color, and for light and dark background colors
It should be color-blind friendly
It should have some identification factor with the wiki's goals
It should work well alongside the existing family of project logos

You can draft a logo design in any image format which can be rendered on this wiki. It will be refined later.
