協定基金 for "Alliance Fund" edit
こんにちは、
Alliance Fund の訳語ですが、旧来の「提携基金」ですと提携団体（ウィキメディア運動の内部）と混同が気掛かりです。そこで、「協定基金」に統一してはどうでしょうか？ よろしくご検討ください。

- Omotecho様、いつも優しく丁寧に大勢の利用者を支えてくださり、敬服いたします。確かに、おっしゃる通りです。この訳に限らないのですが、若い方お二人から「無理に漢字にしなくても、カタカナの方がよいのでは」というご意見をいただきました。これからも運動憲章など様々な委員会や、財団本体が次々に新しい言葉や単語の組み合わせを作り出すことを考えるとカタカナもありかなぁと、そのお二人のご意見がずっと気になっております。また会議等の場で通訳を付ける、と決定ですが、、ご存知の通り、日本語においては正しい訳語を瞬時に口にできる人は非常に限られています。カタカナでよければ通訳会社に依頼した場合、受ける人が見つかる可能性が高まるのでは、と期待できないでしょうか。通訳コーディネーターは、日本語について日本本社のエージェントに依頼しても受け手がいない、を繰り返しているとのことです。 YShibata (talk) 10:36, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
