Next steps for the wish “confirmation prompt for the rollback link” edit

Hello, a while ago you participated in a feedback round about a proposal how accidental clicks on the rollback link could be avoided. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and ideas!
Looking at the feedback and the rollback situation in different wikis, the development team decided how to approach this wish: As a default, most wikis won’t have a confirmation. But users who wish to have one, can enable it in their preferences, which will add a confirmation prompt to the rollback link on the diff page and on the list pages. The prompt won’t be a pop-up, but an inline prompt like for the thanks confirmation. You can read more about the planned solution and what influenced this decision on the project page. -- Best, Johanna Strodt (WMDE) (talk) 09:42, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Congrats... edit

...on getting the global rollback flag. There's a plenty work to do! Esteban16 (talk) 23:33, 26 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello! edit

I wanted to invite you to join us for a series of meet-ups we are hosting this month (tomorrow, the 15th and the 22nd) in Kingston if you are in town, (I noticed you edited on jam.wiki?) if not feel free to edit remotely with us. We focus on visual art and records of African diaspora, please check out our project here. Thanks!--Heathart (talk) 03:41, 8 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Digi It Foundation edit

Hi, Vermont Digit It Foundation is a user group am creating for the wikimedia community in my country. I have applied for a user group affiliation and I was told to create a metawiki page in my application if I want to have a user group. Please if I am at the wrong place your assistance would be very good but anyway you can checkout Wikimedia User Group page. Thanks (Jwale2 (talk) 01:06, 14 December 2018 (UTC))Reply

Thank you for the clarification. Vermont (talk) 02:01, 14 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

About the Counter-Vandalism Training Unit edit

I am very sorry to have to tell you this, but my account has been indefinitely blocked on Wikipedia for being a sockpuppet. So I guess that means that we won't be able to continue the CVU training. I want to thank you for your willingness to train me, and I'm sorry it didn't work out. Maybe someday I will be able to get my original account, Sierpnia, back and I can restart the training then. Have a great holiday season. Sei Noelle (talk) 19:04, 15 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, and I hope you have a good holiday as well. As you haven’t worked in a number of months (from what it looks like), you may be able to appeal by contacting stewards. Vermont (talk) 19:06, 15 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I e-mailed them last night. I don't know how long it will be before they reply bqck, but I hope they say yes. Sei Noelle (talk) 19:08, 15 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
