Wikipedia for Peace Participants Program and Ideas Article lists Results

These are the 100 women we write about in our camp "Women for Peace". We gathered suggestions from participants, Wikipedia community members and others who they thought might be suitable to write about during the camp. We would like to write biographies about 100 women:

  • who are or were engaged in peace movements, e.g. as pacifists, human rights activists, women's rights activists, environmental activists, LGBTI activists etc.
  • who don't have articles in too many languages on Wikipedia yet
  • about whom there are reliable sources (e.g. reliable websites, books, trustworthy newspaper articles).

Thanks a lot for contributing to this list! If you have more inspiring women to suggest, please feel free to add them in the Additional Suggestions section below.
