Wikipedia Workshop at Village Chormar Khera, Sirsa

An interactive workshop on Educational Awareness and Wikipedia Education was organized on January 12, 2023 at Govt Senior Secondary School, Village Chormar Khera District Sirsa, Haryana (India) in collaboration with local school administration. This event was a part of Life Skill Development Camp of the school.

Objective

The objective was to spread awareness especially among the girl students of Grade Tenth and Twelfth and about Wikipedia as a reliable source of information. It was also intended to encourage volunteer participation in editing by sharing fundamental tools and methods.
