Wikipedia Awareness In Akko

WIKIPEDIA AWARENESS IN AKKO is a month-long project fully funded by the nonprofit arm of Wikipedia, Wikimedia Foundation. Its primary objective is training of 50 persons from Akko community on contributing to Wikipedia and its numerous sister projects. The project will be the first in the community, channeled towards helping the community to be abreast of the mechanism of Wikipedia and its attendant benefits and also to have a solid footing in the Community through encouraging and engaging the participants to actively participate in the project. It is also aimed at creating the first ever Akko Wikimedia Community.
