Qu'est-ce que le Mois asiatique Wikipédia ?
Le Mois asiatique Wikipédia (Wikipedia Asian Month) est un edit-a-thon multilingue en ligne dont le but est de construire un rapprochement entre les communautés Wikipédia asiatiques. Se déroulant tout au long du mois de novembre 2024, l'objectif du Mois asiatique Wikipédia sur Wikipédia en français est d'améliorer la quantité et la qualité des articles concernant les pays et les régions d'Asie.
Comment participer au mois asiatique Wikipédia 2024 ?
En tant qu'éditeur
- Recherchez l'édition linguistique de Wikipédia que vous souhaitez éditer si elle participe.
- Lisez attentivement les règles d'édition.
- Choisissez des articles sur des thèmes et des sujets liés à l'Asie, et commencez à créer ou modifier des articles.
- Inscrivez-vous à tout moment durant le mois de la compétition.
En tant qu'organisateur
- Recrutez votre équipe locale pour l'organisation de cet évènement, nous vous recommandons pas plus de 5 personnes.
- Configurez la page d'événement, organisez le concours au niveau local dans votre communauté linguistique et ajoutez un lien vers la page " Inscription et participation ".
- Surveillez les campagnes en ligne et, si vous le pouvez, organisez des événements hors ligne.
- Suivez les progrès des participants à travers l'outil Fountain.
Les règles d'édition et l'audit des éditeurs éligibles
- L'article est centré géographiquement ou culturellement sur l'Asie. Pour plus d'informations sur ce qu'est un article sur l'Asie, veuillez consulter la page FAQ.
- Pour gagner un point de modification admissible, vous devez modifier et créer un article d'au moins 300 mots avec des ressources fiables.
- Once you earn 4 points, you are eligible to receive the WAM Barnstar of the year. Whether an edit is eligible for 1 point is audited by the jury of each language Wikipedia Campaign.

- L'Asie/Asie est une région très large ! Elle possède le plus grand territoire au monde ainsi que l'espace maritime où se trouvent de nombreuses îles. Il n'est pas facile de comprendre la diversité des paysages naturels et culturels de cette immense région. Lors du Mois asiatique Wikipédia, nous espérons sélectionner un thème de référence pour chaque évènement annuel et encourager les participants à en apprendre davantage sur ce thème.

WAM Timetable
- October 1st, 2024 : Publish International Campaign Page of the Year.
- October 5th to 25th, 2024 : Call for focus themes of WAM 2024.
- Before 29 October, 2024: Complete Registration of Each language Wikipedia.
- November 1st, UTC 00:00 to December 31th, UTC 00:00, 2024: Running the Campaign. (Find your local campaign for the actual date)
- January 1st to March 15th, 2025: Auditing of each language Wikipedia.
- March 30th, 2025: Deadline of reporting statistics and eligible editors to the International Team.
- April 1st to May 15th, 2025: The international team distributes Barnstars and Certificates to eligible editors of each event.

Tips for Organizers
Preparing Campaign
- Recruit your local campaign organizing team, we recommend no more than 5 people.
- Pick a start date for your campaign, count for 30 days as the end date. It should be a continuous 30 days from November 1st to December 31st. For example: November 1st to November 30th, November 15th to December 14th would be good campaign dates.
- Set up a Wikipedia page for the local campaign in your language, and place the page link in the Registration list. You should provide a way to collect contributions of your editors and describe how will you collect them in your local campaign page.
- Translate this page into your language.
- If you discover there is already a local WAM campaign, contact your local campaign organizer, and ask if they need volunteers to help review/auditing articles.
Promoting Campaign
- Engage local editors and aim for maximum participation.
- Continue to call for participants to participate at the village pump, community bulletin board, mailing list, site notice, etc.
Auditing Articles
- Depends on the tool you use for calculation. Auditing the edits from your participants. If a participant has edited more than 3,000 bytes with reliable reference, please add this editor in the Programs & Events Dashboard of your local program, and point those articles to this editor.
