Description: An in-person weekend conference in Hokitika, New Zealand with the goals of
- Sharing editing experience and useful tools
- Providing training for new editors
- Discussing the strategy of the User Group and progress our work towards the 2030 Wikimedia Strategy
- Increasing the profile of the Wikimedia User Group of Aotearoa New Zealand
- Increasing the diversity of the editing community into under-represented demographics e.g. rural residents, non-Pakeha people, women
- Creating content to fill knowledge gaps e.g. undocumented areas of significance in the West Coast of New Zealand, endangered species of New Zealand, New Zealand women
- Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fabulousness of Wikipedia
