Planning

Outreach : Host series of workshops before 15th Anniversary!

This is proposed as a first step in the series of Wiki workshops and meet-ups to be conducted within the city We are planning to celebrate Wikipedia 15 Birthday Event in Hyderabad, Sindh. We particularly expect active Wikipedians, academia and any one interested in Wikipedia to participate in the event. We also hope to generate a high level interest of from the Free and Open Source communities and other professionals.

Brief Agenda

1. Introduction to Wikipedia, How to utilize & How to contribute – by Wikipedia contributors.
2. Panel discussions on Wikipedia and the Wiki communities led by Wikipedia contributors and academicians.

Inviting open minded individuals with entrepreneurial spirit to join us in organizing this event at Hyderabad ,Sindh, Pakistan, preferably locals from the city and any other area including abroad who have contributed to Wikipedia in the past and are actively at present.
