The event was conducted mainly to cover natural heritage of areas adjoining Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh, India.

Objective

• To create new content on Wikipedia
• To take images of important water bodies and biodiversity there and preserve them by uploading on Commons.
• *To enrich the existing content on Wikipedia by adding relevant images to it and other media to them.
• To create awareness about Wikipedia among writers and readers.
