Wikimedians of Nepal/Wiki Wistar
Wiki Wistar (Nepali: विकि विस्तार) is an initiative of Wikimedia Nepal aimed to expand the Wikimedia community. The term wistar in Nepali language means expansion, growth, span etc.
Wikimedia Nepal has conducted Wiki Wistar programs in various places where presentations are made to introduce the Wiki Movement and how does the Wikimedia works across hundreds of language community. The technical session of Wiki Wistar teaches the participants about using wikipedia, creating and editing articles in various languages.

Wiki Meeting at ASCOL edit
A Wiki Meeting was held in Amrit Science Campus (ASCOL) in the initiatives of Nepali Wiki Women. Presentation on Wikipedia, Wiki movement Global and Nepal and Women initiatives in Nepal was conducted. A video-show was conducted at the end of the program. The proposed edit-a-thon program could not be conducted because of power cut. Approx. 30 students from ASCOL participated.
WikiWistar in Aberdeen International College, Lalitpur edit
WikiWistar was held in Aberdeen Academy Jawalakhel Lalitpur on Sunday, 24th March. Approx 50 students participated in the program.
OKFN Ambassador Prakash Neupane coordinated and Aberdeen International College, Suraj facilitated the program.
Nepali Wikipedia sysops Ganesh Paudel and Saroj Dhakal presented about the Wikipedia and Wiki movement in Nepal. The 2 hour session followed by online edit-a-thon conducted in the College Hall.
