Wikimedians of Nepal/Annual Program for 2015 AD/Wiki Loves Earth 2015

Wiki Loves Earth is an online international Photographic Competition to promote natural heritage sites sites around the World through Wikimedia projects (mainly Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons). Wikimedia Nepal has started Wiki Loves Earth competition from 2013 and till date around 3650+ plus pictures have been uploaded under creative commons license through this event. Everyone newbie or expert photographer can participate in this contest.

Wiki Loves Earth Nepal will be held during the whole month of May 2015 and organized by the Wikimedians of Nepal.

Important dates

• Competition open date: 1st May 2015
• Last date of Competition: 31th May 2015
• Review of photos by the Juror: 5th June 2015
• Decision of Competition: end of June 2015

Competition Rules

• Participants should have copyright of photos submitted for the competition.
• All Photos must be uploaded during the month of May 2015
• All photos must be uploaded under a creative commons license (CC BY-SA 3.0) which allows for their reuse in any way, commercial and non-commercial.
• Prize will be awarded to only three top participants.

Guidelines for the participants

• Pictures uploaded for the competition should be focused on the natural heritage sites and should not include any human in the picture.
• Only pictures related with the natural heritage sites listed above should be uploaded.
• Participants are required to provide the details of photos.
