  • There will be uploaded at least 2,000 photos of Nepali Monument sites in the Wikimedia Commons.

WikiWomen Initiative & Mentoring program edit

Goals: • To increase awareness on Wikimedia projects women in various communities • To increase Nepalese women’s participation in Wiki projects • To create and improve various language wiki articles related to gender issues. • Help to fulfill gender gap in Wiki movement in Nepal.

Expected outcome: • At least a hundred women will be aware about creating, editing and contributing in Wikimedia projects in various Nepali languages. • At least ten regular contributors will be mentored. • Women members of various political parties will understand about the importance of Wikipedia in developing and using free content.

Activities: • Editathon • Outreach programs in women’s organizations. • Interaction with Women wings of political parties • Girls Colleges Education Program (Piloting in 3 School/College) – 3 school/College X 3 months+1month review.

i) Equipment for hi-speed wireless internet for outreach programs and Internet service for one year. 2 Device @ 20,000=40,000 Service = 2@30,000=60,000 Internet Service for 10 Active editors/admins. (Equipments by themselves) (Community will make guideline to distribute the facility and will review outcome every month) service will be awarded in rotation/contribution basis.
