The Malayalam Wikimedians organized a wonderful meetup, which took place on the 13th of August 2023,in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. This event was organized as a component of the esteemed Freedom Fest, an initiative by the Government of Kerala, with the objective of fostering discussions on inclusivity and access in the development of a Knowledge Society. Wikimedia volunteers from various parts of the country attended, totaling 40 participants. The session commenced with the inauguration by K. Anvar Sadath, the CEO of KITE Kerala, and Dr. Fuad Jaleel chaired the event. Adv. TK Sujith extended a warm welcome, while Tony Nirapath conveyed the vote of thanks.

Objective
editThe primary objective of this gathering was to create a platform for Academicians, Practitioners, Stakeholders, and Students of Kerala to come together and discuss the crucial aspects of inclusivity and accessibility in a Knowledge Society. Through interactive sessions and talks, participants will be encouraged to actively engage with the Wikimedia projects, share knowledge, and collaborate to further the movement's goals.
